I just had a look thru the massive schedule of films and found two powerful LGBTQ themed short films I’d like to highlight for you to check out .  Both will be showing together this Saturday night, March 24th beginning at 9pm @ Synaxis - 660 Cookman Avenue. (Tickets here)

Outer Banks

World Premiere of a Short Documentary by director Sean Robinson &  produced by Paul Warner, exploring ultra-conservative Christian views on homosexuality within a small town family.

East Coast Premiere of a Narrative Short from director Sal Bardo

After being bullied and beaten at school for dressing like a boy, Sam escapes into the fields surrounding her house. When she can’t find her way out, she’s forced to spend the night there, slipping into a strange fantasy world where she must confront her identity and choose between who she is and who society thinks she should be.
